This is a demonstration checkout running in Stripe test mode. No real payment is taken and no goods or services are delivered.
1. Nature of the demo
The purchase flow on this site exists to show a Stripe Checkout integration with a mandatory consent step. Any amount shown is charged against Stripe test cards only.
2. Consent requirement
Payment cannot be started until you tick the agreement box on the checkout page. That consent is checked again on the server before a payment session is created, so it cannot be skipped from the browser.
3. Refunds and disclaimers
Because no real charge is made, there is nothing to refund. In a production deployment this section would carry the seller's real refund policy, delivery terms, and liability disclaimers.
